Mweya Clement was born and raised in Musoma, Tanzania. He holds a B.S. from the University of Dar es Salaam and in 2008 earned a Master’s in Medical Parasitology and Entomology at the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College. From 2004-2009 Mweya worked as a Research Scientist with the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR). Mweya is married and is the father of a 6 year-old boy.
