Title: Technical Assistant for Public-Private Partnerships
The private sector, the public sector, the non-profit world—we may use different words, but ultimately we all want the same thing: people not to die of an avoidable or preventable disease.

Colin McWatters hails from Michigan, USA. He aims to support the global network working to prevent unnecessary deaths through his training in public health, business, and government. Prior to joining GHC, Colin advocated for healthcare and global health funding across the USA, meeting senators, presidential candidates, newspaper editors, and over 18 members of the U.S. House of Representatives. He also founded and organized community advocacy groups through RESULTS, Partners in Health Engage, and Indivisible. At the height of the Zika and Yellow Fever outbreaks of 2016, he assisted with the reform of the WHO's Outbreaks and Health Emergencies response at their headquarters in Geneva. Colin enjoys travelling and grabbing random things from the grocery store to cook something creative and delicious. He has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
