David Balikitenda is from Kampala, Uganda. He completed his undergraduate degree in business statistics from the Makerere University, Kampala School of Statistics and Applied Economics. While in school, David received training in monitoring and evaluation as well as data collection and management through an internship at the Kaberamaido district local government. He has also worked with organizations including the World Food Program during the rapid food assessment through the ministry of disaster preparedness and the office of the prime minister. After completing his degree in 2010, David served as a Quality Assurance Officer at Topline Investment; he then went on to join GB Consulting Associates. David has also received training in monitoring and evaluations specifically in baseline surveys, consumer perception surveys, performance surveys, midterm and final evaluations and database development.
