Deepanjali is from Montgomery County, Maryland. Before joining GHC, she worked at the Global Network for Neglected Tropical Diseases. Deepanjali has also worked in the executive office of the President of the United States in the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Centers for Disease Control, and the Food and Drug Administration. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in neurobiology and physiology. While at the University of Maryland, she was a sexual health and reproductive health peer educator with the University Health Center. Deepanjali loves animals and volunteers at Great and Small, a non-profit that offers therapeutic horseback riding services to children and adults with a wide range of physical, developmental, emotional, and learning disabilities.
