Title: Program and Advocacy Officer
We have made it this far in the course of human evolution in order to connect, collaborate and coexist in a modern world with increasingly boundless opportunities. Community binds humankind together, and strengthens the ability of each individual to propel the human experience to heights we can only imagine.

Devin was born and raised in California. Although his film-production aspirations guided his undergraduate studies at UCLA, his African Development coursework inspired him to take action to address the increasingly complex issues he learned about. He traveled to Tanzania to teach HIV-prevention education in rural primary schools, and helped spearhead an outreach program for youth living on the streets. He returned to East Africa to work on public health outreach in Namasuba, Uganda. Devin was so inspired by the extraordinary resilience of refugees from Central and East Africa that he decided to pursue a graduate degree in international education at New York University, where he researched education interventions for displaced African youth. Before joining GHC, Devin provided grants support to a handful of Africa-focused development organizations. Devin is always trying to quench his insatiable thirsts for travel, music festivals, hiking, and rock-climbing.
