Diana Ankunda is from Kampala, Uganda. She has a dual honors degree from Keele University in international business and media, and communications and culture. At Keele University, Diana developed her understanding of the loopholes in social justice that impassioned her to blog stories for underrepresented groups of society. After completing her degree, she went on to work with various organizations including Uganda Health Marketing Group, The New Vision Publishing Group and The Knowledge Management Company. Diana has used her influence online to connect with like-minded social justice advocates on social media to campaign for the health rights of marginalized members of society. She has also volunteered at public-private partnerships taking HIV and malaria testing services to underserved communities within Kampala. Diana loves adventure and spending time by the River Nile Falls.
