Egide Muhire, native of Rwanda, attended Kigali Health Institute where he received a degree in environmental health sciences. As a supervisor of a performance-based financing scheme at Kibuye Hospital immediately after graduation, Egide was responsible for assessing the quality of service delivery in public health facilities of the hospital’s catchment area. Later, Egide joined the Université Catholique in Lyon, France for postgraduates studies, where he earned his master's degree in public health. He also worked with African Research Solution Ltd on a project investigating outlet performance in collaboration with Bralirwa Ltd. In his spare time, he enjoys going to church.
