Emily earned her Masters Degree in Public Health with a concentration in International Health from Boston University in May 2009. She is originally from Hudson, Ohio and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology from Miami University. Emily has spent time volunteering and working in Ghana, Kenya, and Zambia, and enjoys learning about, traveling to, and working in sub-Saharan Africa. She is passionate about global health, HIV/AIDS, and maternal and child health. In her free time, Emily enjoys running, traveling, playing sports, and spending time with friends and family.
