Emily Wang graduated in 2009 from Stanford University with a degree in Symbolic Systems. While at Stanford she was a computer science TA and president of SPEACK (Students Promoting Ethnic and Cultural Kinship). After graduation she has worked in San Francisco at Virgance, a for profit company striving to leverage technology for social good among other projects. She is interested in collaborative and cross-cultural social movements. In her free time she enjoys knitting and playing piano.
