Emmanuel Gaeta hails from California, USA. He is passionate about organizing events that seek to motivate community members to take a more active role toward addressing social inequity. He has served his community in a number of ways as an education intern at his high school in San Bernardino, providing translation services and organizing a mentoring program. Prior to joining GHC, Emmanuel was a graduate rresearch assistant at the Johns Hopkins Center for Child and Community Health Research, where he assisted the Baltimore City Health Department with the implementation of a new intake form and rapid HIV testing. He holds a Master of Public Health in the epidemiology of microbial diseases from Yale School of Public health. In his free time, Emmanuel enjoys going to the cinema and attending live music shows.
