Eugene was born in southern province, Rwanda. In addition to his work as a pharmacist, Eugene has been involved in training youth on the creation of small income generating projects and an illiteracy elimination program in Gisagara. Eugene studied pharmacy in the Medicine Department at the National University of Rwanda. He was drawn to a career in pharmacy because he wanted to help people through both technical and clinical assistance. Eugene pursued his post-graduate studies in public health, recognizing the value of public health expertise when evaluating a community’s health needs. For the past three years, Eugene has worked as a pharmacist at the Gakoma Hospital.
