Health equity involves addressing systemic barriers and disparities, promoting equal access to healthcare services, and advocating for inclusive healthcare systems through community engagement, education, and empowerment.

Farrukh Saah calls Abura, Ghana home and it’s where he has served as a champion for community empowerment and health equity through research opportunities, program development, and advocacy. Prior to joining GHC, Farrukh served as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Brac University’s School of Public Health. Additionally, Farrukh had the opportunity to serve as a Public Health Disease Control Officer with the North Dayi District Health Directorate and as a Public Health Officer with Nkwa Foundation Ghana. These opportunities enabled him to develop extensive training programs, improve existing programs for reproductive health, and perform service delivery in a variety of programs. In his free time, Farrukh enjoys flipping through the pages of a book and watching movies.
