Fidèle Maburuki is a Burundian national and holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics from Hope Africa University in Bujumbura. It is his work with World Vision international Burundi, together with the history of his country, that made him fall in love with Humanitarian work and called him to impact others lives positively. On top of different positions in the areas finance administration and supply chain, he was active in the area of rapid response. He left world vision in March 2009 to join a construction company and later on the Embassy of Uganda in Bujumbura but it is his love for humanitarian work and long time interest in research that excites him about this fellowship.
