Foster grew up in Columbus, Ohio as an avid Buckeye fan. Most recently Foster worked for athenahealth where she was a Product Manager. She designed software to help doctors focus on providing care while still leveraging technology. She attended Lehigh University in Pennsylvania where she studied Bioengineering. After school, she went to work for W.L. Gore & Associates working as a Quality Engineer for life-saving implantable medical devices. At Gore, she was also a core team member of GROW, the Women's affinity network. She led the planning and facilitation of events to promote work/life balance and women in STEM. Foster can also be found exploring the outdoors, running, getting her zen on with yoga, or trying to grow tomatoes.
