Health Equity is the right for every human to access and receive quality health care regardless of their race, religion, or socioeconomic status.

Ghadeer Ady was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She attended California State University, Fullerton where she received her Bachelor of Science in health science and a minor in women’s studies. As an undergraduate, Ghadeer became an AmeriCorps member and worked one-on-one with at-risk preschool children to prepare them for academic success. Recently, Ghadeer graduated from the University of Southern California with a dual master’s degree in social work and public health. During graduate school, she helped establish The Ladybugs Movement, a non-profit campaign that seeks to empower and improve the lives of homeless women in Los Angeles by increasing their access to hygiene products. In her free time, Ghadeer can be found planning hygiene drives or her next travel adventure.
