Title: Communications Officer
Health equity to her means a future where health services are accessible even in the most remote parts of the world so that preventable diseases do not claim any more lives. She believes that the change needed to make this dream a reality begins with her.

Grace Uwineza hails from Kigali, Rwanda. She believes that health equity is the foundation of a healthy life and has dedicated her life to achieving this for Rwanda's rural population. Prior to joining GHC, Grace worked as a Communications Intern for Actionaid Rwanda where she developed case studies, feature stories, blogs, and other communication materials. Previous to that position Grace worked as a Communications Officer at Yego Rwanda providing translation services at the organization’s counseling sessions for mental health victims. She also wrote for The New Times Rwanda, in which she conducted vox pops to better understand the views of the people of Kigali. Grace holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Uganda Christian University. During her free time, she reads voraciously and is an avid video gamer.
