Title: Communications and Evaluation Officer
"The conditions that produce health inequity are systemic, avoidable and unjust. Not only do we have the capacity to combat them, we have the responsibility."

Hayley is from Hillsborough, California, in the San Francisco Bay area. She completed her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University in 2012 with a major in Philosophy and a minor in Global Health. As an undergraduate, Hayley served as Communications Director for the Northwestern Living Wage Campaign, which seeks living wages and better benefits for university workers. In the summer of 2011 Hayley spent five weeks traveling Peru on a research grant, producing video and photography to expose poor communities' lack of access to safe and affordable lighting. In the winter of 2011 she traveled to Amman, Jordan, to shoot a short documentary on the asylum-seeking process for Iraqi refugees. In her free time as an undergraduate, Hayley enjoyed snowboarding on her club team and working out with the local CrossFit community.
