Humphrey Mulemba was born in Zambia, but has lived in England and South Africa as well. Since 2010, Humphrey has served as the Director of Corporate Strategy for United Machining Works Ltd., an engineering company in Zambia. He also works as a Research and Policy Consultant for Civil Society of Poverty Reduction and sits as Board Chairman of Restless Development, an NGO that primarily focuses on youth education, health and entrepreneurship. He attended the University of Witwatersrand and graduated with a double major in political science and economic studies in 2007. While at University, Humphrey founded and organized projects under the first Africa Chapter for Oikos International, a Swiss-based youth sustainable development organization. After graduating, he joined the Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection, where he served as Program Officer and Program Manager in the Debt, Aid & Trade Program, which focused on education, research and advocacy.
