Title: Program Officer
I am a Global Health Corps fellow because I believe interdisciplinary cooperation and dynamic interventions can help achieve global health equity.

Ijeoma Mba is from Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to joining GHC, she worked in Nigeria on a UKAID and West African NGO Network project, which served as one of the most dynamic citizen engagement platforms promoting free and fair elections in Nigeria. Additionally, she has worked on advocacy projects for government transparency and public debate of candidates running for elected office in Nigeria. Ijeoma has held various roles as a project manager and community organizer, mobilizing communities around health and economic well-being. She has a Master of Science in Social Administration, Community and Social Development from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of West Georgia. Ijeoma loves to spend her free time traveling, meeting new people and exploring global health initiatives.
