Imara Roychowdhury hails from the East Coast of the USA. She most recently was in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and Singapore conducting research on the interactions between health systems, governance factors, and vertical programs with the National University of Singapore. Imara earned her master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and health: science, society, and policy from Brandeis University. She has previously worked for public and private organizations including Harvard Global Equity Initiative, IMA World Health, and the World Health Organization's Office of the Americas (PAHO) on research, policy development, and programs focusing on health systems improvement. Imara loves to read, dance, and travel.
