Innocent Tembo is from Lusaka, Zambia. He has over three years of experience in community education and development and youth behavior change. He is a trained psychosocial counselor and member of the Zambia Counseling Council. Innocent attended the University of Zambia where he studded Adult Education while also volunteering with the University of Zambia HIV/AIDS Response Program as a Peer Educator. He also interned with the Drug Enforcement Commission, where he facilitated educational outreach programs in schools, communities and workplaces on drug trafficking and abuse prevention. Prior to joining GHC, he worked as a volunteer programs officer at Food and Nutrition Foundation, where he implemented education and nutrition programs to support families affected by HIV. In his spare time, Innocent enjoys singing and reading novels.
