Isaac grew up in Rwanda. After completing his undergraduate degree in economics at the University of Rwanda, Isaac interned at the World Food Program, working on the Purchase for Progress Program where he helped conduct research on maize farmers in the eastern province. Isaac later joined Ecobank Rwanda as a clearing officer for two years before leaving to pursue his Master’s degree in social protection financing from the University of Mauritius. Isaac wrote his dissertation on the financial sustainability of the mutual health scheme in Rwanda. Upon completing his master’s program, Isaac joined the trade union ?Association of Christian Unions (ASC-Umurimo) as a volunteer and was eventually elected vice president. Prior to joining GHC, Isaac worked as a claim analyst at UAP Insurance.
