Isabel is from Lilongwe, Malawi. She completed her undergraduate studies at Chancellor College, University of Malawi, where she majored in sociology. While in school, she was the President of the Sociology Society. During her senior year, Isabel founded Chanco: Project Rejuvenation, a student driven initiative aimed at rehabilitating dilapidated infrastructure at Chancellor College. Through this initiative, classrooms were re-painted, re-tiled, attained new white-boards, wall clocks, lecture stands and given a new look in line with modern classroom requirements. In her spare time, Isabel enjoys soccer, basketball, jogging, and playing the guitar.
