Originally from Kigali, Rwanda James Ntambara is committed to fighting against systematic disparities in health and advocating for disadvantaged groups. Prior to joining GHC, James was a Public Health Officer at the CDC in Nantong City, China in the Department of Non-Communicable Diseases and Health Promotion. He had also worked as a Public Health Researcher at the Rwanda Biomedical Centre on a World Food Program project, a Field Representative at Innovations for Poverty Action, a Nutritionist at Caritas Rwanda, and a Clinical Nutritionist at Ruhengeri Hospital. In his free time, James likes reading scientific articles and watching football.
