Health equity means every person has the opportunity to 'attain his or her full health potential and no one is 'disadvantaged from achieving this potential because of socially determined circumstances.'
Originally from Kigali, Rwanda James Ntambara is committed to fighting against systematic disparities in health and advocating for disadvantaged groups. Prior to joining GHC, James was a Public Health Officer at the CDC in Nantong City, China in the Department of Non-Communicable Diseases and Health Promotion. He had also worked as a Public Health Researcher at the Rwanda Biomedical Centre on a World Food Program project, a Field Representative at Innovations for Poverty Action, a Nutritionist at Caritas Rwanda, and a Clinical Nutritionist at Ruhengeri Hospital. In his free time, James likes reading scientific articles and watching football.
