For me, community is a base of everything. Community constitutes a living environment. It is also like a big family where social life starts for any human being. Anything that affects the health of the community, somehow affects the lives of individuals in it. In a community, the human life is physically and socially, mentally and psychologically balanced.

Jean Sacha is from Kayanza, Burundi. Prior to pursuing his undergraduate degree, Jean Sacha co- founded Etudiants En Action, a nonprofit organization comprised of student volunteers. He completed his undergraduate studies at Universite´ Lumie`re de Bujumbura, studying political science and international relations. While at Universite´ Lumie`re, Jean Sacha held various leadership positions, including vice president of the student council, regional vice president of the East African Community Students' Union, coordinator of the Africa Youth Leadership Forum. Recently, Jean Sacha co-founded the Africa Young Professionals Network. Jean Sacha has also worked for the Foundation for Refugee Education Trust as a journalist for a radio program aiming to engage communities in responsible citizenship.
