Jennifer is from Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. She completed her undergraduate studies at Middlebury College, majoring in International Studies with a focus in Political Science. While at Middlebury, Jennifer co-organized a campus-wide Water Symposium focusing on issues of water scarcity and conservation. After graduation, Jennifer worked for two years at ACCION International, a Boston-based microfinance nonprofit organization. She oversaw the development of the senior management monthly report and partner-wide social performance indicators. Jennifer will complete her Master's in International and Environmental Health at Boston University in August 2012. She recently returned from Ethiopia where, as part of her required Master's practicum, she completed a child-needs assessment for Betasab, an organization that provides housing, education, and health care services to orphans and vulnerable children in Addis Ababa. Jennifer has lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts, for the past three years and enjoys running, yoga, hiking, and cultural exploration.
