Born in Zomba, Malawi, Jessie Mphande is a passionate contributor to health research and the provision of impactful health interventions for all populations. Prior to joining GHC, Jessie worked as a Research Assistant with the African Institute for Development Policy (AFIDEP) where she supported a number of health research projects on topics including antimicrobial resistance, post-tuberculosis wellbeing and sexual and reproductive health. Her work has been published by BMC Health Services Research and PLOS Global Public Health. Prior to joining AFIDEP, she served as a research assistant for various health projects. In her free time, Jessie enjoys cooking and adventuring in new places.
