Jillian Dunning is from Somerville, Massachusetts. Prior to joining GHC, she lived in Washington DC where she worked with the analytics team at Population Services International. Jillian received her master’s degree in Public Health from George Washington University in global health epidemiology. She was awarded distinction for her thesis work modeling the impact of various control measures on the Ebola outbreak Liberia in 2014. Jillian has worked in a wide range of countries, most notably in Switzerland where she completed a project categorizing global transmission zones in collaboration with the World Health Organization’s influenza team. She has also worked in Rwanda, where she traveled to rural health clinics and completed an end-line evaluation of a grant to improve the availability of necessary medicines and commodities for community health. Jillian completed her bachelor’s degree at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she majored in culture and politics.
