Joan Namisango is from Kampala, Uganda. Prior to joining GHC, Joan worked with Buganda Land Board to sensitize and mobilize the community on a variety of health issues. She also volunteered with the Uganda Red Cross Society, providing counseling services to clients and teaching communities about the benefits of immunizations and mosquito nets. Joan attended Makerere University of Uganda, where she majored in social administration and minored in gender development.
