Joanitah Kajoba hails from Kampala, Uganda. Prior to joining GHC, Joanitah was a Project Assistant at Uganda Non-Communicable Diseases Alliance, working on media engagement for non-communicable disease awareness. She also served as a Research and Project Management Officer at Womena Uganda, supporting reproductive health research and project implementation. Joanitah is an alumna of the Grow With Us Fellowship under Choose Yourself International, which focused on empowering and equipping African Young Leaders to fight for women's rights, economic and gender justice. In her free time, Joanitah enjoys listening to music and traveling.
