Josee Uwamariya was born and raised in Rwanda. She is a reproductive health and family planning advocate. Prior to joining GHC, Josee volunteered for Burera Volunteers for Development Association as a Reproductive Health and Family Planning Officer. Here, she coordinated and supervised sexual and reproductive health activities. Josee received a Master of Science in global health delivery from the University of Global Health Equity. She enjoys watching movies and swimming. Josee’s academic and professional experience, coupled with her passion to serve vulnerable people, has motivated her to become a GHC fellow.
