Born in Kampala, Uganda and raised in Wakiso District, Uganda, Joviah Nagawa is a professional demographer and a passionate advocate for global health and children’s rights. Prior to joining GHC, Joviah served as a Peer Mentor on UNICEF’s Girls Empowering Girls social protection program where she supported the education of young girls. She received certification as an emerging global leader from the MOGi Global Leadership School where she was awarded for producing the best book, best video project, and for being an influential leader. For fun, Joviah enjoys reading books and watching movies.
