Author: Juliet Busingye

Juliet Busingye is a 25 year-old Rwandan native. She received her Bachelor’s of Business Information Technology (BBIT) degree at Mount Kenya University in July 2011. Juliet went to FAWE Girl’s School and now works with FAWE RWANDA as an intern in Database Development and Mentoring Programmes. In 2008, she served as president of the Student Government Association of Generation Rwanda (GR), an organization that provides university scholarships. Juliet also traveled to the USA on a fundraising trip for GR, where she traveled to New York, Boston, Washington DC and California giving speeches about her future dreams and her nation. She has worked with the Rwanda Association of University Women as a project manager and she is passionate about empowering Rwandan women. Juliet has also founded a women’s association within Generation Rwanda called WECAN Women’s Network, which seeks to support, equip, and empower women and the community. She achieved Honor roll awards in Generation Rwanda in 2010 and is a member of Roteract Cub Rwanda.
