Julius Mbabani was born and raised in Kamuli District in Eastern Uganda. Prior to joining GHC, Julius was a Team Leader for Sexual and Reproductive Health at Marie Stopes Uganda. In this role, he supervised a team of nine counselors. He has also volunteered in rural communities of Iganga with the Uganda Village Project carrying out surveys and implementing projects in malaria, sanitation, maternal health, and HIV/AIDS. Julius holds a bachelor’s degree in guidance and counseling from St. Lawrence University in Kampala. In his free time, he listens to music, dances, cooks for his family, and sometimes travels to discover more about his country.
