Katie Suarez was born and raised in Chevy Chase, Maryland. For the last few years, Katie has worked as a consultant for Stax, a boutique strategy consulting firm, based in Chicago. As a consultant, she managed projects across the healthcare, technology, industrial, and consumer markets. She developed go-to-market strategies and efficiency models for healthcare providers. Katie attended the University of Notre Dame, where she double majored in economics and political science, and was a member of the inaugural Hesburgh-Yusko Scholars Program. While at Notre Dame, she spent two summers working and volunteering for Grassroot Soccer, a sport-for-development program focused on mobilizing an AIDS free generation, in South Africa. Outside of work, Katie can be found mentoring students on the south side of Chicago, running, and traveling.
