Kochelani is from Mufulira, Zambia. Prior to joining GHC, he worked on a project sponsored by the European Union and the African, Caribbean, and Pacific Group of States that involved the collection and surveillance of aquatic insects nationwide. Kochelani was also a part of the social data collecting team for the USAID-sponsored project, Nshizirungu, sought to improve water supply and sanitation in parts of Lusaka’s urban and shanty compounds. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Zambia in August 2010, majoring in ecology and wildlife management, and focused his graduate studies in entomology from the same university. Kochelani loves to play volleyball and watch soccer.
