Title: Program and Policy Officer
My greatest motivation is to work with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders and communities on improving policies and programs that have a profound effect on health, reducing inequities and addressing global threats that transcend boundaries.

Kudakwashe is from Zimbabwe. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education and Promotion at the University of Zimbabwe. After graduating, he joined the Zimbabwe AIDS Prevention and Support Organization where he helped implement policies and programs on HIV/AIDS care and treatment, prevention, and support. He also worked with Young Africa Zimbabwe, which focuses on the development of underprivileged youth, and with Concern Worldwide on women and girls empowerment programs. Kudakwashe received his MPH in Global Health from Thamassat University’s School of Global Health Studies in Thailand. While at Thamassat, Kudakwashe helped respond to the 2012 torrential flooding emergency, providing aid to flood victims through distribution and provision of temporary shelters. Prior to joining GHC, Kudakwashe interned with the Asian Disaster Prepared Center’s Public Health in Emergencies program, where he worked to address the continuing and emerging challenges in the management of health emergencies.
