Ladislas is from Monze, Zambia. He received a degree in Library and Information Studies and Demography from the University of Zambia. As an undergraduate, he was the Secretary General of the Population Studies Association and took on a leading role in providing the training for the SPSS statistics program, and tackling population and health concerns in communities. He was also a member of the university’s HIV Response Team, tasked with promoting countrywide awareness. Ladislas won three international essay competitions, the Africa Japan essay contest in 2006, the International Telecommunications Union in 2008, and the YF speaker at the World ITU telecoms in Geneva, Switzerland in 2009. After graduating, Ladislas went on to work with various organizations including African Height as a statistician and World Vision as a trainer and consultant in data collection and analysis.
