Health equity to me means all people have the opportunity, capacity and ability to have their health needs met. It means fairness; in access to quality health care and services.
Lily hails from Lilongwe, Malawi. An advocate for gender equality, she is passionate about increasing access to healthcare in marginalized communities and using evidence to inform public policy and programs. Prior to joining GHC, Lily worked at the United Nations supporting women’s empowerment programs. Additionally, she was the recipient of the Philanthropic Educational Organization’s International Peace Scholarship and was included as a guest speaker for their 2018 Colorado State Chapter Annual Meeting. In her free time, Lily enjoys baking and taking Zumba classes.
