Lindiwe Bandazi was born in Blantyre, Malawi. She graduated from the University of Malawi in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and media studies. Prior to graduating, she interned for Zodiak Broadcasting Radio Station as a reporter where she gained hands-on experience in the Malawi media industry. Lindiwe joined the Malawi Institute of Journalism, a private journalism college, as a Journalism Tutor and Course Coordinator. She taught news writing, photojournalism and communication skills to aspiring journalists. In 2014, Lindiwe produced a wide range of impact-based media and marketing content for the organization including videos, photos and feature stories. She enjoys spending her free time cooking and traveling.
