Lisa Chase is from Brooklyn, New York, USA and has settled in Copenhagen, Denmark. Most recently, she worked for the United Nations World Health Organization, conducting epidemiological investigations on the prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis B/C amongst at-risk groups. Lisa has also volunteered at the Danish AIDS Foundation and interned for the Sackler School of Medicine, helping to establish their Summer Institute of Advanced Epidemiology. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics from New York University and simultaneously worked for the NYC Department of Education as a sexual health educator, promoting health awareness and safety. Lisa obtained her master’s degree in public health with a focus on emergency and disaster management and epidemiology from Tel Aviv University. In her free time, she likes giving tattoos, camping, and reading.
