Lucky Gondwe is from Lilongwe, Malawi. She attended Chancellor College, University of Malawi where she majored in philosophy and minored in psychology and classics. In her second year at Chancellor College, Lucky co-founded and managed a student-run community-based volunteer organization, Stimulus, which provides social development and early childhood development services. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree, she coordinated Be the Cure, a national awareness campaign that works with private and public stakeholders to raise funds for marginalized cancer victims and increase awareness of the disease. Lucky has previously worked as a Client Service Manager for EXP, an international marketing agency. She also volunteered with a youth-focused HIV/AIDS prevention agency in South Africa called Love Life. Before joining GHC, Lucky volunteered as a communications officer at Dignitas International.
