Of proud Saudi Arabian and Palestinian heritage, Lulu Jastaniah has called Virginia home for most of her life. As Senior Research Coordinator at Ibis Reproductive Health, Lulu’s work supports grassroots organizations working to advance and protect sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) across the U.S. and the Africa continent. She has support research and partnership management across a variety of contexts. On the research side, Lulu is involved in all stages of the research process, from ideation, data collection tool development, analysis, and dissemination, across a number of projects ranging from accessibility and acceptability of telehealth for SRH in the U.S., to providing research and technical support to grassroots SRH organizations throughout the African continent. When applying to become a GHC fellow, Lulu was “drawn to GHC's focus in community building and leadership skills building, which I believe would contribute a great deal to my professional development.”
