Mafayo Phiri is a Health Economist. He has a Masters degree in Public Health, specializing in Health Economics, from the University of Cape Town. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Malawi-Chancellor College. Mafayo has over 3 years research experience in health related fields with a major focus on malaria, HIV/AIDS and tuberculosis. He has worked as a Health Economist on several of REACH Trust’s research projects, primarily analyzing cost effectiveness of interventions. His most recent project experience includes the current Triage Plus project and Palm Plus project.
