Marie Cole is a Los Angeles, California native. She recently completed a dual master’s program in public health and business administration from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Carey Business School. The dual master’s program served as a platform for her to prepare for leadership capacities in global health and human rights-based approaches to developing programs and policies concerning women and children. Prior to graduate school, Marie worked for the Manpower Demonstration Research Corporation (MDRC), a social policy research organization in New York City. There, she assisted with a legislatively mandated and large-scale effectiveness evaluation of home visiting programs in the United States. Marie enjoys sunlight and warm weather, dancing, candy, music, and her family and friends.
