Title: Community Nutrition Education Fellow
Community is where we are called into the greatness God has designed us for. It’s in relationships that we live out through mutual service, sacrifice, humility, love, restoration, and forgiveness.

Megan grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. She pursued her undergraduate studies in dietetics at Purdue University after being inspired by a therapeutic feeding program for HIV/AIDS patients in rural Kenya. She went on to complete her Master of Public Health with an emphasis on nutrition at University of Minnesota. During graduate school, Megan spent time as a research assistant on food security projects, contributing to the reform of national food assistance programs, as well as collaborating with international adoption organizations and refugee health agencies to assess young child feeding practices. Previously, Megan worked with World Vision International in Seattle, Washington, adapting monitoring and evaluation tools to reach some of the most vulnerable populations of children. Before joining GHC, she completed a clinical practicum at Beaumont Hospital in Detroit, Michigan to become a registered dietitian. In her spare time, Megan is an avid cook and backpacking enthusiast.
