Meghan is originally from Princeton Junction, New Jersey. She earned her master’s degree in international studies with a certificate in humanitarian assistance from the University of Denver. There, she co-founded her school’s chapter of Universities Fighting World Hunger and spent three months in New Delhi, India working to improve health and nutrition services provided to three urban slum communities. As an undergraduate at Boston College, Meghan majored in international studies and sociology. Prior to joining GHC, Meghan worked at John Snow, Inc. as a Project Officer on the USAID-funded Strengthening Partnerships, Results, and Innovations in Nutrition Globally (SPRING) project where she coordinated the project’s global portfolio and provided technical support to the anemia, nutrition systems, and social and behavior change communication teams. While at JSI, Meghan earned a certificate of advanced study in the delivery science of international nutrition from Tufts University. In her free time, Meghan loves to garden, hike, and seek out delicious vegetarian food.
