A medical doctor from Lusaka, Zambia, Melissa Mukalumamba Haketa is a passionate advocate for community health education, womens’ rights, climate change, and sexual reproductive health and rights. Prior to joining GHC, Melissa took on several volunteer opportunities and has most recently been a member of the Young Emerging Scientists Zambia where she has worked on several research projects. She has also been a member of the Daisycare Zambia team where she has been actively involved in community education and awareness efforts. In her free time, Melissa enjoys reading, cooking, and gardening.
