Health equity is making health-related information accessible to all. It means improving access to information for marginalized groups in society so that every person can have the same opportunity to make informed choices about their health and well-being.

Mirriam hails from the Copperbelt Province in Zambia. She is a passionate communications expert who is dedicated to ensuring the voices of marginalized groups in society are heard. Prior to joining GHC, Mirriam was appointed as the Kabwe area contact person for social protection, a first of its kind project in partnership with Spireworks that focused on providing protection for workforce minorities in Zambia. Additionally, she was a volunteer at the University of Zambia’s community radio station where she supported efforts to raise awareness of pressing social issues. In her free time, Mirriam enjoys reading and volunteering for just causes.
